For Breakfast – Start the day actively and help yourself to the energy giving breakfast buffet with fresh farm butter, farm bread or alp cheese. You will find locally farmed products and typical specialities from our region.

For afternoon snack – Enjoy oven-fresh specialities from our patisserie. We will treat you to home-baked delicacies along with fine herbal teas from our buffet.

In the evening – Choose from our three menus. Chef Sigi Rogl bewitches with delicacies from home-produced cuisine and other specialities. You can also help yourself to our salad and starter buffet. The health conscious will be delighted with our vitality menu. Where possible we serve products supplied fresh from our farm.

Feel at home and enjoy cosy lounge areas. We have set up feel good oases for you, e.g. our Taurerwirt lounge with its small library. In the national park gallery you will find interesting information all about the Hohe Tauern National Park as well as historical and cultural information about our region.

Enjoy lavish accommodation, Tyrolean style. The best materials and lots of locally produced wood make your holiday accommodation particularly cosy. Also enjoy the peaceful setting, the spectacular views and relax to your heart‘s content.

Wellness in the Midst of Nature – Inclusive

In Taurerwirt you will find a refreshing wellness experience. In addition to our indoor sauna area we have also set up an outdoor panoramic sauna for your enjoyment. While feeling blissful heat, enjoy spectacular views of nature.

And of course our wellness garden has particular attractions both in summer and in winter. In summer enjoy the delightful garden facilities with lounging area, comfortable seats in the sun or shade and Kneipp facilities with bar footpath.

In winter enjoy a scintillating cool off in fresh snow after a feel good sauna or enjoy the fantastic winter atmosphere in the outdoor whirlpool.

Plus: Our outdoor pool with internal entrance is enticing with its pleasant heat (32 °C) and spectacular views.

As a founding company and member of the "European Hiking Hotels", the hiking experience is obviously a priority. We have 3 certified hiking guides and enjoy showing you our favourite places. Accompany us and experience nature at its finest. But other adventures await you around the Taurerwirt, too!

60km cleared or prepared winter hiking routes. Set off from the hotel through romantic snowy forests.
Ski hiking and winter hikes
3 guided tours weekly with Christina, Marianne and Martin. You can hire snowshoes and poles from the hotel free of charge.
